Hi Everyone. Newbie looking to get into Voice overs. I was wondering what I can expect to pay to get a good quality VO demo produced and what are some good questions to ask/things to know when talking to demo producers?
Thanks! _________________ http://neilkhessvo.com |

Depends. They range from $750 to a few thousand. But that's not the question. The question is, are YOU ready to cut a demo? _________________ Jeff

Hey buddy!
I love and appreciate your enthusiasm. I also like your voice! Your age and sound are very "in" today in vo.
That said, I want you to read this page from my website:

Then if you have any other questions feel free to pop me a note directly at porkysvoice@aol.com

You see that guy? The one who sent you the FAQ link?
That's the voice of Porky fecking Pig. You should listen to him.
In all seriousness, it's good advice- train, practice and take classes. And then take some more. When it's time to cut a demo, you'll know.
Be cautious. There are a lot of people out there who are more interested in your money than your success. _________________ Corey "Vox Man" Snow

A lot of people try to get into a business (any business) by throwing money at purveyors of magic pills. The problem is that an uninformed newcomer has no way of sorting the real deals from the snake-oil salesmen... special communities like this are a goldmine of information and support. _________________ Bish a.k.a.
