Oh yeah. That's right. Sorry, forgot to tell you Lori. New people get LLama clean-up duty. For at least a week or two.

And they have to bring chocolate. ButYouCanJustGiveAllTheChocolateToMePersonally. I'll take good care of it. Rolls Eyes

Not one to shirk my responsibility, I've been doing some research on llamas.

Did you know they can live to 20-30 years old! Exactly how long will I be responsible for Mr./Ms. Llama?

Did you know that it's dangerous for animals, including llamas, to consume chocolate?

For those of you interested in the care of llamas, may I suggest some light reading:

Caring for Llamas: A Health and Management Guide. 2nd ed. 1966. Clare Hoffman, DVM and Ingrid Asmus. Rocky Mountain Llama and Alpaca Association, $24.

Llamas: An Introduction to Care, Training, and Handling. Sandi Burt. Alpine Publications.

I had the pleasure of sampling some Icelandic chocolate yesterday. Really quite nice. WhodaThunkIt?
