Yeah, but I also did my part in less than a day and didn't have to wear makeup. There are some trade-offs.

But I think you understand my point. You consider the gigs that come your way and the ones you can hustle. You don't turn down work simply because someone else is getting paid better for a different job.

No editing. That's no real editing. It's a punch and roll record. At least on the union contracts narrators don't want to with the editing. Not worth it. So it ends up being more a 2-1 or 3-1 depending.

And yes, the time commitment. That's what I said when I turned it down. I wouldn't be able to do 15 hours and keep up with my other work. I can comfortably do 2 - 10hour books a month. No more.

I don't see any scenario in which I'd do the 13-week contract. Three hours of finished audio every day would be murderous.
