With the advent of ACX, my former publishing arm of SpringBrook Audio is no more.
Long live SpringBrook Audio proofing and mastering! Something I have a hell of a lot of experience in and should have been marketing better.
Anyway, if you all can bang on SpringBrookAudio.com and let me know what problems you find, I'd most appreciative. _________________ Jeff

Looks good on Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. Would be a plus if the Twitter and FB links opened in a new window/tab though.
I'm sorry to hear the initial venture didn't work out the way you'd hoped. All the best for this new version (and I'm pretty sure I'll be hitting you up for some mastering services in the near future ) _________________ Back into the murky lurk from whence I came

VERY NICE PRESENTATION.
Love the colors, the layout and the image.
The top box doesn't compress well in Safari— there's a ton of white space below the quotes if you narrow the browser window.
Not all the quotes are honoring your margins.
Get yourself a "SpringBrook.com" email address.
Please say "Got a question?"
"Gotta" refers to "Got to".
The whole site is easy to use and easy on the eyes. Nice work. _________________ DBCooperVO.com

Looks good on the iPhone, however there's a lot of white space at the end of your first block of copy "Done Narrating?". Everything else is tidy.

In Internet Explorer 9, the testamonials appear in a narrow column in the blue border on the right of the screen... looks good in Chrome though. _________________ Chris Rice - Noisemaker

Should be just about right. _________________ Jeff

Hey, Jeff, I worked though the site on my iPad and it looks great! Nothing functionally leaped out at me, not that you expected that at this point.
I thought all the explanatory content was comprehensively done. Just wanted to point out one remaining typo, on the "What we do" page: the text "Get piece of mind knowing..." should read "...peace of mind" instead. (Unless you're targeting, say, narrators with Alzheimer's. ) _________________ jen@jengosnell.com

Great site - all the information I wanted to know, no fluff.
Two ridiculously nit-picky things: On the landing page, the three boxes at the bottom are all different sizes - just a little distracting and slightly unfinished-looking.
Also, the testimonials could stay up for a wee bit longer - I read pretty quickly, but had to wait for them to come around twice to finish reading them.
Slightly unrelated question - what do you like better, narrating audiobooks yourself, or the proofing/mastering? _________________ Kendra Hoffman

Definitely, narration, no contest. I only offer the service because I know how to do it, and it can provide another income stream. But I don't rely on it to make a living. _________________ Jeff

Well, the mastered version is definitely louder. You didn't fully explain why ACX shut you down. _________________ Clay Teunis |

A few more nit-picky grammar-y things:
(Ignore them at your leisure.)
What We Do Page:
Proofing section:
- Should be “proofing,” not “proofing”, (comma inside the quotation marks).
- "might hurt the listener experience." Ain't necessarily wrong, but I think "listener's experience." makes much more sense.
- Technically, "another set of earballs have made sure" should be "another set of earballs has made sure"
- "This is a series of technical finessing" would be improved by changing the last word to something you can pluralize like "adjustments." (Or by singularizing the first half of the sentence to something like " This technical finessing involves...")
- "can jeopardize your book being accepted." would be improved by changing it to something like "can jeopardize your book's acceptance."
- "Need a sample? Here’s raw audio before we master it." should have a colon at the end instead of a period.
Yes, I'm a grammar geek. Sue me. _________________ Doug Turkel (tur-KELL)
