Micing...why would I want to go to a seminar about mice in the studio...is this a real problem? Uhhhh...least that what I thought it said when I first read it...been a long day in H Town. _________________ . If at first you don't succeed, then bomb disposal probably isn't for you. |

Although I am not picky and love to learn, why would a VO person want to use more than one microphone? Unless you can talk in stereo.
Although some of the techniques are nice to know, a seminar like this one is designed for a recording studio environment where one might presume to mic a piano or drum set, or Classical 12 string guitar or an orchestra... Singing Vocals uses a much different technique for mic placement than spoken vocals.
Although this would be fun, I am going to pass.
