i have panels on 3 walls & my window plug installed --- looking for opinions.

it certainly FEELS a lot deader in here.

Sample Audio

#1 before followed by room tone
#2 after
#3 30 degrees to the left of where i was pointing in #1 & #2 followed by room tone

still to come: solid wood door, wood flooring, insulation on the OTHER side of the wall separating me from my computer and a cloud overhead.

if you think this is overkill, please let me know.

Huge difference, all for the better! It might feel too dead to you at times, but I would guess that's only because you're used to the bouncy-bouncy you had before.

Sounds much better, nicely done! I think #3 sounds best... it might not have as much resonance on the bottom end but I think it sounds cleaner.

Yeah.... Off-axis is the trick that seals it. Much improved. It's coming along.

yes, that. soon, i'm sure.

improvements continue, though. sample audio

1st is before - 2nd is after.

added 3" panels to 3 walls, 11" window plug, 3"x42"x42" cloud 6" from ceiling & solid oak door

i don't really have plans to treat the 4th wall - unless the consensus is that i should, but i do have plans for a 3/4" oak floor & insulation & sheet rock on the back side of the wall separating me from my equipment.

once i get some house keeping done, i'll post a pic.

* edit to add pics
