How much time typically elapses between the delivery of a mastered audiobook to the publisher and it appearing in searches on Audible?
I just completed my first book, and am dying to hear the finished product.
And one other thing, are audiobooks ever still released as physical CDs?

You're lucky if it's only 2-4 weeks. Depending on who you're working with it can range from a minimum of about 3 weeks (in my experience) to up to a couple of MONTHS!

The book I did on Audible took about two months from the time I turned in the final files to the time it was released.

My experience has been that there's a release date for the titles before I even start on them. The one I did most recently will come out in late May, but I was done with it a week ago. Not sure when Audible gets it, but they probably already have it in hand or will this coming week.

I've done three so far - two fiction, one non-fiction. They each timed out at around a month from accepted audiobook to on-sale audiobook.
