I've been doing more VO for gaming lately, and I strapped together a bunch of takes I liked from projects. Just the straight up raw files, no music or heavy processing (after hearing a few demos like this I liked the approach). Thanks for listening and your input. Cheers!

Wow Lance!
You almost blew my eardrums with the start of that demo. Lots of variety and great display of emotions.
Never tried to review a gaming demo but it sounds great to me!
All the best,

I don't think it's by any means bad, and I absolutely hear the talent. But I'm not a fan of the lack of production. Just feels like one liners rather than scenes. The second half is better to my ears than the first half. The first half's energy needs more variety. But I think the most important people to ask would be your agent, game casting directors, and producers. They may love it, and if that's the case forget everything I said!! |

Great point about the need to change the energy in the first half! I agree. I'm not a fan of the lack of production either. That's why it's short clips to start and a shorter demo over all (:40). I don't intend this to be my only gaming demo, but a few people are looking for demos of this kind to show what kind of results I can produce. I think it's a good bow to have in the quiver, but it won't be my go-to demo. Thanks for saying you hear the talent, though!
...and now this morning I added two clips around the most screaming one to change the energy. Works with the same link above. _________________ Skype: globalvoiceover
