"orthopedic surgeon and nurse-anesthetist"
I had to try about fifteen times to not sound like I'd had half a dozen pints of Guinness. _________________ Corey "Vox Man" Snow

...or been "anesthetized" by the nurse, if you know what I mean.

Half a dozen pints of Guinness? Well, as my Uncle Johnnie from Limerick would say; "Jayzuz Colin - that's jus' gettin warmed up!"
He's as close to a cartoon Irishman as you could conjure. Back in the sixties he would often drink 12 or 13 pints and still drive home. Mind you, he once crashed into a bollard quite late one night in Pall Mall. He thought it best to abandon the car there and then. In the morning he reported it stolen.
Good job the police believed him. YMMV! _________________ Colin Day - UK Voiceover

Lucky for him Inspector Lestrade didn't have any help that day. _________________ Lee Gordon, O.A.V.

It's very close to the word "bollocks." _________________ Lee Gordon, O.A.V.

Because when one rams a car into a bollard one often yells, "Bollocks!".
