wow! i listen to myself all day and it's NOT THAT INTERESTING!

that whole ebay dealie-o was a small nightmare. i had 3 6-month contracts with them, but they use an arm of kelly services for billing. holy eff. i spent WAY more time "onboarding" to their "portal" and getting "official" than i did recording and editing those many hundreds of prompts. only 2 weeks ago did kelly get the message - take me off your email list about "conferencing and exciting new developments in the portal."

when ebay released me, thank you sweet baby jesus, i was told they were trying to synch up their paypal messaging and announcements with ebay (both owned by same entity). so i went to a paypal queue and heard another female vo who was stellar! and i thought- that is just FINE. apparently, if they were aiming to have all announcements voiced by the same person, she's must still be "onboarding" all these months later!!

anyway, if you're still reading this (todd), i hope your issue was resolved! Wink

my issue WAS resolved.

btw - i sold a 7" usb monitor to (a kid as it turns out) who wanted to pay me $10/month for 7 months because his mom gives him that amount in allowance!

after i stopped laughing i emailed him & said - "no thanks" & sold it on a "2nd chance" to the next highest bidder. ebay had me down for selling the monitor twice - but their guy fixed me up.

tempted --- yes. but not THAT tempted.

i did email him and explain to him that's not how ebay generally works - that i wouldn't cause him any trouble with bad feedback - spoke in generally fatherly terms hoping that he had learned his lesson & so on ...
