I just saw these and have no other info: http://www.soundboothsunlimited.com/

I'm not sure they'd prevent jackhammer noise from coming in, but they might be a solution for a bouncy room.

Looks kind of like a full-body Harlan Hogan Porta-Booth.

Don - EXACTLY. Why is that so gross to look at? Sick

It would create a hugely negative workspace vibe for me. I don't even think I would take one for free! Money Mouth

Those of us who arrived here having spent some portion of our life in past years working in a radio station.... arrive here thinking Voice Over is about stepping up to a mic and creating 20, 30 or 60 second pieces of sound. (I got it! I'll put a mic inside a foam lined bird house. Mission accomplished.)

And then you find out there are books to narrate... E-training to voice... videos that need a sound track. And once you accept the fact that sound also happens in LONG FORM... that you might want to sit down while talking for 4, 8 or 12 hours... that you might want a place for a glass of water or other beverage that doesn't clog your pipes to sit... some of these foam filled bird-houses and fiber-glass lined outhouses don't strike you as a place to spend that many working hours.

The problem with a larger studio work-place... it's too easy to forget where in here you parked your motorcycle.

I agree.

Every time I see something like that I wonder what I could do with $399 worth of 2x4 studding, 3/4" marine ply and home-made batts and chunks*

*Batts & Chunks are the sensational new Long Island comedy double-act, currently on an island-wide tour of all pizza restaurants called either Vinnie's or Gino's.

THat looks somewhat like the temporary shower I put in the basement when I was renovating the upstairs. They cost about the same but the shower's infinitely more useful.
