Clapping for you over here too Donna! WayToGo! It's one thing to become the voice of a globally recognized company. But, how special is it to know that over several decades your voice will help save the lives of pilots. _________________ Smiling is good medicine!

Meet Michelle
As she played with her friends at school I attended numerous VO sessions. She flies a Merlin Helicopter, she was awarded the Distiguished Flying Cross. We've never met but we worked together for hours during her training on that aircraft, I'm very proud of her!
Donna - You make a difference ...Keep making a difference. |

WAY cool, Donna.
But now I want a nickname, like "Dangerous"...
I think I'll go with "Unstable." _________________ Always look on the bright side of life.

My misspent youth.... And a Rat Pack bunch of friends that included a rock jock, an ex NFL player with a bad knee, a TV anchor, and a concert promoter.
We threw outrageous parties.... We paid heavenly bills.
And, for obvious reasons, we all had nicknames. I was Guido. It stuck. My oldest and dearest friends still call me Guido to this day.
When I joined the bb, I tried to register as db.... But that one was struck down by the queen. There's only one.
So, I fell back to the old familiar greeting.... "hey, Guido..."
And, there you have it.... _________________ Don Brookshire

Way to go, Donna! Many congrats!
As an aside, you're in good company seeing as how the previous Bitchin' Betty was Ellen McClain. She's an opera singer and stage actress, but most famous for her turn at Valve Software as GLaDOS, the homicidal AI in the uber-popular Portal video game series.
Director Guillermo del Toro was so enamored with her GLaDOS performance, he got special permission from Gabe Newell at Valve to use the same vocal processing from Portal when they cast her as the voice of the computer AI that runs the BAMF robots in the upcoming film Pacific Rim. http://youtu.be/2vKz7WnU83E?t=45s
It's a long way around to tell you that you replaced a helluva gal. Great job![/url] _________________ "Man is so made that whenever anything fires his soul, impossibilities vanish." - Jean de la Fontaine |
