I like Philip's avatar too.
C'mon Bish! There's got to be one positive thing you can add to the discussion _________________ “Real freedom is freedom from the opinions of others. Above all, freedom from your opinions about yourself. ”

Due to my slightly different position (being a Brit), I'm fishing in a far smaller pool. Fewer jobs are available on the P2P sites, but a far smaller group are vying for them. My success rate is probably higher than most as I'm not throwing myself into a group of 150 auditions (usually 30 or so... and if they want a Brit with ISDN, sometimes only a dozen). I'm selective. I choose what to go for based more on the client rather than on the job itself. This has lead to a healthy stream of repeat business from clients with whom I made initial contact via a P2P job.
The bottom line for me is that my investment (in both money and time) would stand any critical cost/benefit analysis. _________________ Bish a.k.a. Bish

Resistance is futile . Join in! It's the latest craze sweeping the nation. "To p2p or not to p2p? that is the question!"
It's either that or. " pc vs Mac?" " booth or treated room?" "Condenser vs dynamic?" "Is ProTools overkill?" "Can I record auditions and gigs on my ipad/iPhone?" Or "is Phillip Banks for real or is he pulling my leg?" _________________ Lee Kanne

My comment, just for the silliness of it.
Serious note - My opinion on P2P sites counts for nothing. We're working to pay the bills and Scott does it extremely well.
....and the next great debate; is there really only one L in Philip or is he just taking the p*ss ...AGAIN?

OK... in order: Mac, room, depends, yes, not if you want the gig, both. _________________ Bish a.k.a. Bish

I thought the point was that Philip or Phillip makes no difference because every produced simply says just get me Banks and the whole world knows who he means (kinda like 'Madonna' except Banks doesn't care for thigh-high leather boots - as much - any more).
So in a way, Banks' direct success makes him a P2P in and of himself.
Which really doesn't matter cause, in any case, he still gets all the cool gigs anyway.
And to clarify, the correct answers were: twinkies, skydiving, my parents basement and a purple turtleneck. _________________ - Peter
