I am wondering if I am the only one with this headache! I just came down to do some work on an audiobook, opened TW and saw there was un update (Version 1.11.1 (64-bit)) Naturally, I downloaded it and after a restart of the program...viola! DEAD! The program has ceased to function all. When you open it a message pops up and says NO DOCUMENT COULD BE CREATED. I emailed the guy, Thomas, who does the program for help. I need it now in the worst way.

So, be careful about updating TW right now as it F'd me up good for the moment and my work is at a standstill till I get an answer and , hopefully, a solution. If anyone has had no probs or similar probs please let me as I--selfishly--hope it aint just me. And yet I restarted the iMac too..no dice.

George Whittam...are you out there!! HAHA

Thanks and take care all!

Hey Andy,

I think I saw your post on the Twistedwave forum. It looks like Thomas has responded and says it's a problem with those using a Focusrite interface. Are you using one of these? If so, email him.

Good luck to you! I'm not going to update my version until I hear about how you fixed yours...

Mark

Fixd! Thomas provides Service...with a capital S! He had to use co-pilot to control my iMac and he was able to get thing up and running. It has to do with focusrite as you said. So, I''d wait to do the update for sure if you have a ficusrite device and maybe even if you don't!

But where else can you find that kind of service and tech help? He replied with in a few moments of my email and seemed to work hard to fix the problem. I was a big fan of TW before and now...even bigger. I know these things happen with updates so I don't blame him.

Yeah, he's a great guy! I'm really glad that he was able to help you fix your glitch, Andy.

Now that we've nailed down the immediate cause, I can go ahead and update without being concerned. (I have a Mackie interface.)

Good to know, I have a lot of clients running TW with Focusrite interfaces so I'll expect to hear about it soon...

I've been a longtime fan of Focusrite pre's and interfaces.....

But their drivers? Not so much.

Verify, then install. Ninja

Have both TW and a Focusrite interface (firewire) on an Mac Mini and NO problems at all.

Wonder why?

He did address the issue and now there is a "new" new update to download. My heart is back to normal rhythm.
