A great lesson in storytelling, acting, performance and using the voice as an instrument ...to hear one only has to listen!

Simply (literally) outstanding.

I also found it refreshing that the audience was so completely mesmerized by the performance they waited until the last note was played before applauding.

Of course the tunes that get me every time at a service are the ones played on a bagpipe. It's the Celtic side of my ancestry I'm sure.

Wow, I've never heard of Kate Rusby. Very beautiful lyrics, unique fast vibrato voice. That was a very good, and most importantly, compelling performance.
