I got a quote from my rep at BSW for an Xstream, comes in close to $4600 with a 30 day wait while it's assembled at Telos. They've seen demand fall to zero for this equipment. Doesn't surprise me with the volume of used boxes available these days. It makes me take a closer look at the Musicam Road Warrior XL as an all-in-one studio solution, just plug in a USB interface.
Testing out Luci with a Comrex Access today, will keep you posted! _________________ If it sounds good, it is good.

George,
Check out Luci on a hardwire connection AND then on a fast wifi. You will notice a difference in latency and quality.
If you can get an Android and iOS tablet or phone try it, you will not be able to use the higher end codecs, but Luci is "reporter quality" on mobile devices using wifi or G4.

Not getting to far with this Access, can't get it to show up in the Device Manager or reset it. Will call Comrex tomorrow...
My Luci Live test on the Mac and my Android works well, though. _________________ If it sounds good, it is good.

Getting a firmware update for this Comrex Access, it's apparently ancient. Then I'll be able to make some progress. I don't have the AAC codec upgrade, but to at least see that it works will be cool. I am going to demo Luci with their Echo server live on the show tomorrow night. I'll try it with different codecs settings to let people hear the difference in quality and latency. _________________ If it sounds good, it is good.
