Hi folks. Just got back from a week at a film festival for fulldome works being held in Germany. We had a wonderful time, and our video, "Losing the Dark" (http://www.lochnessproductions.com/shows/ida/ltd_previews.html), won an honorable mention at the festival. This was against some excellent competition, so we're very pleased.
It's being translated to 17 languages, and we saw both the German and English versions at the Festival.

ONLY 'honorable mention'?? Stoopid judges! Honestly, CC, I thought it was extraordinarily well done. Congrats, but if I'd been judging, you would have won gold.

Thank you Philip and Scott.
The grand prize winner was an amazing film from Poland about the dream of flight. It was just so good. Mark and I will be distributing it in the U.S. starting later this summer. Even *I* would have voted for it as a big winner. The Festival awarded a LOT of prizes to student works and only three or four prizes to "pro" works, and most of those were honorable mentions. So, we were in exalted company.

| Congrats CC! That's great news - and a fabulous video. I grew up in the city. I remember when I was a kid and we used to go to my aunt's house in the woods of Connecticut I would spend hours trying to count all the stars I could see from there. |
