I have to agree on this point. If you want to be private, don't run your own business, the two are at odds with each other.

This is called "reverse 911". I for one would like to know when the s^@* is about to hit the fan, especially since I don't have a AM news radio feed running 24/7 in my headphones. Unfortunately, the only alerts I've received on my Galaxy S3 so far were false alarms about flash floods. I live in a tsunami zone where my house would be under many feet of water, I want as much warning as possible to start walking up hill.
