Here's a cool sound-related story I heard Monday on NPR, described as such:
Computer programmer Peter Shann Ford claims to have located the missing "a" from Neil Armstrong's famous first sentence on the moon. According to Ford's software analysis, Armstrong did say "That's one small step for 'a' man, one giant leap for mankind." Ford is the CEO of the Sydney-based company Control Bionics, which specializes in technology development for the physically handicapped.
Which can be heard here
Enjoy! (Should this have been posted in the LEARN section?!) _________________ sitting at #8, though not as present as I'd like to be. Hello!

Interesting. Armstrong has always maintained that he misspoke, and that it was he who accidentally dropped the "a"....
This probably already has the "fake-moon-landing" conspiracy theorists all atwitter. _________________ Great Voice. Great Choice. For Voice Talking and stuff.

After a lot of tweeking, I was not only able to SEE the "A" but I was able to enhance it so you can HEAR it too.

That's cool, Dave! When I crank the volume up and put my head near the speaker, I'm pretty sure I'm hearing that vowel sound now!
