So I am seeing the Apogee Duet 2 is now discontinued in favor of the new version for Ipad and Mac. Does anyone have this new version and is it better than the Duet 2 or the same? The price seems to have stayed the same. I can't find any info about a breakout box for this version like the Duet 2 has. Looking to purchase a new interface for my Mac Mini. Thanks!

| Pretty sure it is an identical interface, just adds the iOS functionality. If you are interested...I happen to have a Duet2 for sale (pre-iOS version). Shoot me an email. |

Duet 2,last I heard, not discontinued. New i-specific version simply includes proper cable for iPad and iPhone. Otherwise, identical. Buy Jason's, and save a few nickels.
