Hey Gang--
One of the Boston Agencies asked me to put out an APB for a home studio in the Boston area.
The request came in to the agency via e-mail:
Quote: | I have a god-daughter who needs to get a recording of herself playing the cello for a college admission. Know any, not too expensive, studios or people who do this stuff? |
It ain't me-- I'm an hour and a half north of Boston.
Anyone? _________________ DBCooperVO.com

Shouldn't be a problem finding a plethora. Does Berkeley School of Music do anything like that? Or is that where she's trying to gain admission? Here's my slightly OT reply regarding cellos and college: Click-n-Clack the Tappit Brothers (Car Talk on NPR) had a call from a woman wanting to know what kind of car to get for her daughter who's heading off to university. The car needs to hold her cello, which is over 6 feet tall and worth $20,000+ Yikes! And it had to be cool--no minivan. (They suggested the Honda Element, which was my thought exactly) _________________ sitting at #8, though not as present as I'd like to be. Hello!

Deeb,
I'm on vacation all next week. If she really gets jammed and can't find anything, I can take her at 'AAF sometime during the week of 10/16.
I've got a Neumann/Summit combo that would sound pretty sweet for that app.

Thanks, Chuck!
I'll pass on the possibility to Matt at CP Casting. _________________ DBCooperVO.com
