So so need to spend extra $$ for the ventilation then..

Basically, no different than any other booth, I see

I think Mike Bratton had one of these for a while, and it sounded really good. (I still have the mp3 of his sample saved if you want it.) I think he has since moved on to a "real" studio bricks booth though.

I went a similar route as this and bought a Clearsonic booth. Mine is a drummer's booth, but I wanted something I could put my desk and equipment in, so I had to go larger than their "VO" booth. I draped Audimute blankets all around mine and have it in the basement. The only real problem w/Clearsonic's is that they don't really have any mass, whereas those Drum Perfect ones use an MDF backboard which is then wrapped in the fabric for all their panels.

I wish I would've went w/their booth, but mine does the trick pretty well after I doctored it up quite a bit.

You could always reach out to Mike for his first-hand opinions.

Thank you Chuck. The Drum perfect room fits about right in my space cause of no floor. The Whisperoom doesn't not clear the low basement ceiling. I'll contact Mike

I would get their sound blocking specs, to be sure. You can always treat the inside for sound absorption, but if it's not up to snuff at blocking outside noise you're SOL.
