Cost of running my business is 2.92% of annual turnover. It would be of Apple Turnover but I'm not allowed those coz of my Type II diabetes.

That is an impressively low number... obviously (at least to some degree) a reflection of your fixed costs against the sacks'o'cash that arrive daily at your door... but all the same, it's pretty damn low!

I think this impressively small overhead is due to the fact that you are basically selling SOFTWARE . You are selling "content." (your voice). That is then loaded down the Internet (or ISDN) and delivered and stored similarly. And easily duplicated or played back at many different locations.

Before Bill Gates, most computer software was given freely and mostly considered "open source." He practically pioneered the idea of SELLING it. (for HUGH amounts of money) Remember how much Microsoft Office Suite USED to cost a business?

Ever imagine the profit and overhead of a piece of Plastic (CD or DVD) that contains something like...say...Waves Mercury Plugin collection? ($6300 USD) Cost of the disc. (.29 cents)

Of course there was the research and development and the continued advertising. But...once that initial cost is paid for...the profit margin is ENORMOUS..

Of course, in your case, if you catch a Bad Cold...your profit margin can shrink considerable. There is always that.

But, Sir, I would say yours is an extremely profitably business model. It is to be admired.
