Good heavens, I actually got the shivers at the end. And for anything related to football to cause that in me is quite remarkable! _________________ jen@jengosnell.com

I auditioned for a series of TV spots for the Orange County Fair in SoCal. I apparently gave them what they wanted because they hired me. But even then, the scripts they provided consisted of just my lines with no context. I'm trying to recall if someone from the agency called in to "direct" the session and I don't remember. In any case, I sent them the stuff and they were happy with it. However, quite a bit later I finally got to see some of the spots online. Here's one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VdfkIwMpGUk
If I'd known what the concept was, I would have emphasized "effect" rather than "fair." _________________ Lee Gordon, O.A.V.

I wouldn't have. There's all kinds of 'effects'. THIS one was the OC FAIR effect. I think you did it just right. And hence the game of interpretation continues... _________________ Never do anything you wouldn't want to explain to the Paramedics

Those players with sledgehammers in their hands.... nice to see those kids doing something extra to help pay their way.
Nice job Rick.

Upon further review, I probably wouldn't have emphasized "effect" but I would have done it slightly differently. _________________ Lee Gordon, O.A.V.

Very, very nice, Rick! Even though it's for NC State (rather than my TarHeels), I thought it was well done _________________ Arlene Cooke

I didn't know what to expect with the description, but it turned out great and it pumped me up and I don't even watch that team! |

Great to read about the "before" and watch the "after" and see how it all came together. Excellent work, sir! _________________ Justin S. Barrett
