A while back, somebody pointed out that my posts here were appearing in duplicate. I wondered if there was something about my particular set-up that was causing this, but I have since noticed there are some other people who are also experiencing this same phenomenon. I wonder if there is any way for one of our resident cyber-geniuses to figure out what's going on.
By the way, my workaround to prevent my posts from appearing twice is to click "Submit" and then click my browser's "Back" button immediately after my post shows up. I always get the error message about "You may not submit another post so soon after posting," which tells my the board's software thinks I've posted twice, but taking this step keeps the doppelganger from materializing.
For this post, I am going to skip the above step, so you may see this message twice. You may see this message twice. _________________ Lee Gordon, O.A.V.

Duplicate headings AND posts.
Now THAT's funny. _________________ Don Brookshire

I was expecting the same post to show up twice in the same thread. When I saw that the result was two separate but identical threads, it caught me by surprise. I guess it's because I initiated the thread. If I had been replying to an existing post, it would have just shown up the way I had anticipated. I could recreate that scenario here if I don't take the steps to prevent it, but it's already getting old. _________________ Lee Gordon, O.A.V.
