Every so often, while searching the Google Webs for cakes to post for peoples' birthdays, I come across something that I just have to download into the Cake Locker™ for an appropriate occasion.
As we were wrapping up our time in San Antonio following a most successful Faffcon, VO-BB stalwarts Elaine Singer and Peter Bishop were led on an equally successful boot shopping expedition by our own fabulous footwear phenom, Melissa eX. The sight of the three of them returning with their "booty," if you will -- inspired me to pull this one out of cold storage and dedicate it to Ms. eX.

Perhaps the text above the pic was not clear.
1. Elaine, eX, & Bish returned to the hotel from a boot-shopping junket in San Antonio, each with some spiffy boots.
2. The sight of said spiffy boots inspired me to pull this pic out of storage and post it here.

For me Don, Corral Boots - They fit me well and aren't too expensive. I saw a couple pair of Old Gringos and Lucchese's I loved but at $700+ they were way over my budget.
I just love this Lee.  |

(And probably would not have been a perfect size-match with those gopher holes along the side of the road. )
