I snored like a dragon.

Earlier this week I recorded voices for a new video game playing a bronze statue that's been underwater for centuries, a slow-witted goblin king, a grumpy forest creature that's tree stump full of squirrels (my avatar at the moment), and a dragon. I improvised a snore or two in the first session and now they want a "snore and snort" sampler.

I also portrayed a first-time gun owner giving his thoughts on which one to buy for a web video, and shortly for an audiobook I'll portray several wacky, small-town residents making life interesting for the sheriff as he tries to solve a recent murder.

Variety is the spice of life, and it's sure spicy here today. I like it.

Nothing fun like dragon snoring or underwater statues, but I did a promo for a new aircraft Boeing is going to release in 2016-2019 sometime, more than a few web videos that started with "Meet ________," and a video for the Mogadishu Mile 5K run.

I gotta get into animation...that sounds a lot more fun, and my kids would be much more excited about it. Smile

Jason, I did aircraft narration, too, but even less interesting. Ongoing work (I've been doing it for about 5 years now, thanks to yet another client finding me on V123), narrating maintenance instructional videos for Embraer.

Wrapping up one audiobook and started on another. Plus the daily NPR and Umano work, a job for (yes, another) V123 client narrating 7 Barbershop instructional videos, a narration for a Russian company about some kind of I.T. stuff, narration for another I.T. company in Ca. that is going thru yet ANOTHER original V123 client who found me about 5 or 6 years ago. 4 Real estate tour narrations (for businesses and for the city of Quincy, IL).

So maybe not the most glamorous of stuff, but certainly a wide VARIETY!

This week I've recorded two short corporate narrations, an awards show presentation narration, a high-end auction narration, a series of medical narrations on a new series of cancer treatment trials and a television narration for the San Francisco Giants. Tomorrow I have a session recording a couple of commercials for a wireless phone company.

So far this week I've narrated two Explainer Videos, a couple of batches of revisions, and industrials for Novartis and Alcatel-Lucent for French, Swiss, and Austrian clients. It's a Euro-kinda week.

Today I will do the most important voice work of the week by going door-to-door with my niece Asha saying "Trick or Treat" as many times as it takes until she gets all the candy she desires. Pics to follow...

HA! Mr. Lee...

Light week last week. Couple auditions, one that wanted me to sound Italian. And not character Italian, no Godfather read, but an Italian who spoke decent english. We'll see about that one.

I had two on-camera auditions, and one tomorrow for NY State internal explainer videos...

We'll see how the rest of the week shapes up!

A lot of last minute automotive narrations that will be at the SEMA show. I told my clients I was heading out on Halloween and they literally flooded me with projects for the show. I think I'll do that at least once a month from now on. Money Mouth
