There are no bad motorcycles... just some that are better than others.
I have a Triumph at the moment... I've owned Norton, BSA, Greeves, Yamaha, BMW, Honda, Francis-Barnett(!) & Ariel, to name but a few. I have never owned any American Iron... however, I would like to.
There's something unique and iconic about them.
I'm all light & smiles on this thread _________________ Bish a.k.a. Bish

No hate for H/D….I just like to tease.
Truth be told, I've never met a bike I didn't like. Well, except maybe for the Suzuki Hayabusa. That's a real acquired taste.

Chuck, I gotta be honest with you, I LIKE the Hyabusa!
Also, as far as Harleys, I really do like the V-Rod.
I just can't get used to the new style that's the current fad like this one, the Triumph Tiger, which basically looks to me like a bomb blew up in the parts department. No rhyme or reason or visual flow at all to the style:
Also, here's a video of my bike currently for sale:

Classic Bish! That's a beaut!
Agreed on the "adventure bikes" Scott. They kind of remind me of transformers.
Here's my girl…..

Bish, my 20 year old son, who is looking for his first bike, would LOVE that. He really LOVES the classicly styled bikes. Agreed; that's a beauty. _________________ Scott R. Pollak

my wife is not going to like you for that picture, peter. i've been trying & trying to NOT buy another triumph.
it's very hard, and seeing your bike makes it that much harder!
as for the hyabusa --- to me it looks like what it is -- a dual-sport with a bunch of crap super-glued to it in random locations. it reminds me of some of some of the people in my other pastime who will buy anything "tactical" and clip it to a rail ... somewhere.
off-off topic: like this guy _________________ "i know philip banks": todd ellis

Todd... LOVE it when he talks about the round storage at the gun butt where you can put 'Tootsie Pops, Rolos...'. LOL!

Picked up the FJR1300 today and put about 50 miles on it. I told my wife it is literally like going from a '69 Camaro to a 2014 Ferrari. Scary fast and glasslike smooth. And big. I gotta get used to the extra poundage. _________________ Scott R. Pollak
