i don't really audition much these days - not on the p2p circuit. 20 years of loyal clients & word of mouth seem to be doing the job. but, not counting the voicebank "leads" that crowd my inbox, i did audition for a $3,000 job this week because i thought it was right in my wheelhouse. _________________ "i know philip banks": todd ellis

Got an audition this morning for $4000 (four short pieces at $1000 each), which seemed quite a lot for what they were seeking. _________________ Lee Gordon, O.A.V.

The most lucrative audition opportunity I've had was through my agent for a TV VO (non-union, obviously):
Pay: $4000 which includes the 10%.
This rate will cover 2 session records which include:
Two :15's plus two :10 lifts for 1 year global usage.
Rerecords will pay $150 + 10% per session re-record.
Interestingly, I wish when I auditioned for this I did not know the rate, because I totally psyched myself out and bombed it. _________________ www.juliaknippen.com
