Don't be shy. We all like our own voice to some degree or another. Or we wouldn't be doing this.
But don't you occasionally, or even often, hear a voice on tv and think, "Man, I don't know who that is, but I LIKE that voice! They did an awesome job!"?
I'm a huge fan of "Mysteries at the Museum" and it's spun off a series called "Castle Secrets and Legends" and my wife and I agree the narrator is superb. I'm not familiar with him, but his name is Ted Stewart, and apparently he's a big-league v/o player:

After having a chance to work with him a little at the Marice Tobias Vegas sessions, I really appreciate Erik Thompson's range. Promo-wise Joe Cip is awesome. I'd see him go from comedy, to drama and everything in between in some sessions. Nailing it it on every take too. Of course Ratner and Rummel are benchmark voices. Oh, and there's this bloke named Banks. _________________ Wicked huge.....in India.

Our own Rob Sciglimpaglia has appeared in several episodes of Mysteries at the Museum and was on the premier episode of Castle Secrets and Legends.
For voices I can listen to all day long, my list is extensive, but just to name a few, Edward Herrmann, David McCullough, Sigourney Weaver, Edward James Olmos, Keith David, Peter Thomas, the late Alexander Scourby, Liev Schreiber, and from among our own ranks, Bob Souer and Melissa Exelberth. _________________ Lee Gordon, O.A.V.
