Some day for some price... It's inevitable, but competition is good!

I mentioned this nearly two years ago here on the VO-BB. And, again I say Skype will not do this release until they are assured of earning money with the project.

My personal guess for release of Skype TX (does this remind you a bit of AudioTX?) is mid 2015. Which is a day late and a dollar shot in this business.

So far, ipDTL and Source Connect Now require the use of Chrome. Call this a wild-ass guess, but I'll bet Skype will require the use of Internet Exploder. That ought to keep it mired at the back of the pack.

Ooh, good point Lee.

Skype is sooo clunky. Could I trust it to make interfaces as nice as SC (and soon ipDTL) are coming out with?

Rhetorical question, that.

Skype is vested in Firefox. They also now have a stake with a new, non-branded search engine (I cannot tell you the name yet), which is a far cry from Chrome or Safari.

It (TX) is a workable interface unlike Skype... and promises hardware accessibility also.

More as I know it...
