Greetings fellow mouth-speakers,
I usually land a job every month or so and I DO have a couple regular clients I work with but it's been real slow for me and NOT for a lack of trying.
I just did this audition on voice123.com and would like to get your feedback.
here's the direction given:
Quote:
We're doing a big "ANTHEM" video to promote a new business that is being created.

We want a voice that has lots of character, and wisdom.

We DO NOT want a voice that sounds like a TV or RADIO news reporter. We want the voice to have lots of unique character.

We're going for the feel of the new Bob Dylan - Chrysler commercial - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KlSn8Isv-3M

Here's the audition:

Any critique would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Moose

Not sure if this will help but here you are any way.

Slower, softer, more knowing smile, more twinkle in the eye, restrained pride.
Imagine that all you want to say is "We're doing this now because we can and we'll do more tomorrow because we want to"

Good luck.

I agree with Philip. I kept wanting to say "Slow down! Slow down!!" I love your voice, though.

I thought it was pretty damn good. Def slow it down a bit though, a little more emphasis on the key points and after that it's all subjective and just a numbers game.

Pretty good.

I wouldn't smile more or slow down. I like it. If they want it to sound like the Dylan spot, that one's rushed and not friendly at all. It's downright arrogant! Smile

OK, maybe I'd draw out a few phrases for variety - yeah, that. Otherwise, I dig it.
