Anybody who spent after-hours time in the lounge at Faffcon in San Antonio surely witnessed, or more likely, played Cards Against Humanity. No doubt, we'll be doing it again in Tucson and at Faffcons 8, 9, & 10 (and FaffCamp, too).

One unique feature of the game is, you're not just stuck with the cards that come in the box; you can make up your own cards and add them to the mix.

So we've decided to crowd-source some custom cards to spice up the game. I've created a thread at the Faffcon Social Dashboard (yes, in this case, there is another forum) that explains the process and then you can post your card suggestions. Go to faffcon.com, then log in to the Social Dashboard, go to the Message Board, General Chit Chat section, and click on the Faff Against Humanity discussion.

As Faffcon approaches, we'll compile all the suggestions and print up a set of custom cards to take to Tucson.

I used to ride around Portgordon on one of these, it was fabby.

Mrs Banks "Well, I can't walk properly so I could get exercise if I had a bike"

Now, not only am I an idiot I frequently do public demonstrations. I bought, brand new for about $750 a Pashley Princess bike. Upon delivery the saddle and bike was set up for herself. Van left. Mrs Banks pushed the bike to the side of the house and concluded that she could not ride it because of the amount of beer cans in the atmosphere and the risk of being attacked by Androids from the planet Psssythyt. Fair enough.

I rode it and then eventually sold it to a 75 year old lady from Aberlour who rode it until her death last year. She died from being hit by a beer can in the atmosphere thrown by an Androind from the planet Psssythyt.

Yes, it seems you have to be registered for Faffcon 7 in order to log in to the Social Dashboard, so for anyone who isn't, it's a bit of a -- you'll pardon the expression -- faff. For a lot of the Social Dashboard stuff (ride sharing, roommate seeking, etc.), it doesn't really make sense to open things up to people who will not be attending this conference. However, for this particular project, and for some of the other stuff on the board, I think it would be nice to have it open to all previous Faffcon attendees in addition to those signed up for Tucson. But I'm not sure if that is technically feasible, even if Amy wanted to do that.

I will also add that for anyone who has never been to Faffcon, there really is little or no point in participating in the "Faff Against Humanity" card creation, since these cards will basically consist of a series of Faffcon-related inside jokes.

If any previous (but not going to Faff7) Faffers would like to get in on the card creation fun, they are free to email me at lee@leegordonproductions.com with their ideas, card submissions, or questions.
