|
So this has happened now twice -- I've tried to send a private message, and it goes to my Outbox instead, where it apparently languishes...
If I click on the message in my Outbox, I don't see where I can resend it, or any way to actually get it to the intended recipient. It just sits there, mocking me.
What am I doing wrong, Mods? One was a new message, and one was a reply, so I don't think that has anything to do with it... but I'm open to any suggestions.
Thanks! _________________ Always look on the bright side of life.

OK, got it.
So then, if a message has been in the Outbox for over a month, that means the person is just choosing not to read it...? _________________ Always look on the bright side of life.

That's about the size of it.
I NEVER read mine, they're always hate mail, I know where I stand |

By the by, I've never understood why anyone uses the message function of this board instead of using e-mail. Almost everyone here has an email button on their posts, and using email, you don't have to take the extra steps of logging in and out of VO-BB just to read a message.
Simplicity can be a good thing.

That is how we reach you Lee, but for those without superpowers... a Private4 Message sometimes gets the job done and at least the contactee knows here you are coming from...

I thought messages also stayed in your outbox if the recipients inbox is full. _________________ "Bailey"

The message leaves your outbox when the other party logs in. They don't need to read it. _________________ DBCooperVO.com

I like the PM function here and I use it.
After I first met Todd at The Palace Station, we emailed, texted, and used PM.
Now we don't talk at all. What an a**hole.
