I worked on a production over a period of about 3 months and it has been very well received. I took a moment to reflect and realised what REALLY happened.

A beautifully lit stage, great set, gifted camera operators, director, sound people, musical director, choreographer and 101 back room boys and girls.

1,2,3,4 - The big band plays. The lights shine and the dancers do their thing. At exactly the right moment in perfect time to the music the dancers part and I, dressed in a sharp suit walk on stage. Smile at the audience, relish the thunderous applause, take a bow. FADE TO BLACK.

People leave the theatre or as they sit watching their TVs conclude.

"Philip Banks was awesome!"

No. I just know a number of people who ARE awesome and very generous.
