Hi All,
I've already had 5 people confirm attendance at the Philip Banks Extravaganza Luncheon and Poker Soiree - and this was just officially announced this morning. If you'd like to attend, please email me so that I have an idea of numbers! larissa@larissagallagher.com
Very excited to share the joy of Mr Banks' experience on both coasts!

We have introduced a set of rules for "First, you have to think differently - unplugged"
1 - Don't argue.
2 - Enjoy your lunch
3 - $3,000 on the spot fine for anyone who uses business/marketing jargon and is unable to explain it.
4 - Those afraid of failure are welcome.
5 - Those who fear success and pretend to be (see above) will be fed to the Lions.
6 - Challenge everything I say.
7 - If you hear me order anything with sugar or excess carbs tell Larissa - she'll be carrying Mace. |

Yesterday it was my pleasure to do 3 national TV commercials for one of the resort hotel/theme parks in the USA. I am now not as rich as Croesus but as rich as his brother Alan who used to sell used Citroens from a lot near Troy.
The above means that my trip to LA will be funded to the point of decadence and I am now able to afford to go to VOICE2014, which I won't, I'm taking a stand and am saying NO to further emotional damage. Progress. I am happy to report that thanks to $250,000 of therapy I can now say Faffcon Harrisburg without feeling the need to eat a bar of soap and set fire to a Librarian. Part of the settlement with the latter was a flame proof Volvo and 4 new bras. Some bras cost over $29! Outrageous! I had to BUY 4! That's nearly $300.
Life goes on, my august adventure continues. |

I'm having new business cards printed.
Philip Banks
General Expert
Problems solved, opinions given
I am guaranteed repeat business because every time I solve a problem for a client they'll either create a new one or find a different spin for an old one. Should they seek my opinion they will then canvas the opinions of others and so have to return to me for a new opinion based on the opinion I gave them earlier only with the knowledge added from the secondary opinions of my primary opinion.
Today is the day the big bucks start rollin' in ...AWESOME! |

I needed to get my diabetes renewed a couple of weeks ago, it's an annual policy. I wasn't going to bother this year but you never know when it may come in handy.
Jane looked at my notes and my numbers, took off her glasses, sighed, wheeled her chair over to me, put her hands on my knees and stared straight into my eyes. This was not professional, this was personal.
"I'm going to KILL you!" she squeezed my hands, wheeled her chair back to her desk and went back into business mode.
Doctor's orders - I have to change two things in my life, everything and everything else. The meeting of minds will reconvene in 3 months to see if I've made any progress.
If I get things back on track then I should make it to age 53 ...Awesome! |

Yeah, That "Diabetes" requires the "change everything" treatment every so often.
So in order to prolong your life, please prolong your life.
Thank you. _________________ DBCooperVO.com

Seconded. Getting old is a drag, but it beats the alternative.
And, as we discussed, if you can find some choices that are palatable to you - and there will be some - you'll feel a lot better for it. Maybe sooner than you think.
You can do it. |

What DB said.
If you keep this up I'll have to come over right quick and empty out that fridge and feed every offending blood-sugar raising piece of diabetes inducing crap to the pups!
Of course....at that point I may well be persona-no-grata with the "crafty-crowd", but I don't care!
Seriously. We want you around! _________________ Liz de Nesnera O.A.V. ~ Livin' The VO Dream!

Oh, yes we do - because then who else would I come up with solvable problems for? Or re-spin old ones.
Oh, btw grab those $29 bras. They're more like $59 'round these parts. |

According to Jane I died last year but thanks to the admin burden imposed on her by NHS Scotland it's easier and cheaper not to tell me. I suspected something a few months ago when she added 200ml per day of embalming fluid to my treatment regimen. |

On the plus side, you may be eligible for tax credits. Pick up the leaflet "Your death and how it may affect you" from your local Revenue & Customs office. |

Talking of Bras my lovely friend Lauren, now departed from this mortal world, once bought a bra in New York for $498 which set off the metal detector at JFK. I didn't ask.
As she was an Airline Pilotist she had what a mutual friend called her "Groundhandlers Bra" - Secure but good visibility. All aircraft at their stands at London Heathrow, all Captains waiting for an early push back. Lauren puts on her HiViz jacket, removes tie, undoes THREE buttons on her shirt and leaves aircraft to chat with Groundhandlers.
"allo mon cher! Gan you do me a fahvur ay?" flutter, flutter. Captain Dessiere was French Canadian.
Two minutes later a call to departures saying she is ready for pushback so can she have a earlier slot (time to use the runway). All other Captains find a newspaper to read, guess who's going first.
One controller once replied to her request "BA thirty six double d, clear to push back ...." |

And in the case of the "Crafty-Crowd" that would've been a gallon of JetA fuel and a Zippo lighter. |
