My visits today have been flawless so maybe we've licked it.
Speaking of solar flares, I'm going to try and stay up a bit to look for the Northern Lights. Apparently this last flare was big enough to make them visible in the Northern U.S. tonight.

I have been getting them too but this current session of about an hour hasn't seen a one. That means I've been able to thread jack galore (I didn't). And I, too, want to try to stay up to see the sky!

I have gotten them from time to time (one or two earlier this week, for instance) but the VO-BB is so awesome, I just put up with it.

Then again, maybe not. Every attempt to connect with a page today has resulted in the kinds of errors that Bob just posted. Clicking "back" and trying again usually results in a page served correctly. Usually. Sometimes it takes multiple attempts.
Oh, and this has only happened to me today. Not on any previous visits in days past.
