Cannot add anything technically constructive I'm afraid, but I think my desk rumbled while listening!
I think that's a good thing? _________________ (otherwise known as Cari, if you squint it looks like Carl) |

i'll start by saying - i'm terrible at these things "a" and "b" usually sound exactly the same to my ears which have been blasted by headphones 5 hours a day for 25 years. however, it DOES sounds VERY much like a microphone to me.
a bit less "warm" than your usual, i think. _________________ "i know philip banks": todd ellis

Same mic, same room, nothing added or taken away. Only difference was that I was standing about 4 ft away. I was testing my theory that my mic will produce a reasonable sound as long as it's in the same room as me. I wonder if the warmth would be there if I cranked up the gain whilst recording. |

I liked it. And with Ebola on the move, we do need to be practicing our running-away-from-zombies skills

Four feet away? I was wondering why I could "hear" the walls of the wee huttie. Well treated walls, so it wasn't really distracting. Just there.

If I stood four feet away from my microphone, I'd be in a different room. _________________ Lee Gordon, O.A.V.

Ah! That explains why I can hear a boxy quality... sounds ... well... um... like someone standing 2 feet off the mic in a small booth.... _________________ Colin Day - UK Voiceover

Yup. I was going to mention that it had a hollow sound with a lot of room tone. It sounded like a closet. _________________ www.MarleyAudio.com |
