A note, mostly for the folks newer to our forum...

Please don't quote entire 30 line posts when you respond to someone. In fact, the majority of the time you don't need to quote ANY of the person's post above yours because you're post is right below theirs. If you just respond to the previous post we usually get it.... or maybe you can start out, "You're absolutely right, Frank. However...." and we'll get it.

If you must quote, just quote the essence of what you're responding to. Sometimes all you need is a sentence, or even a few words. See those [quote ] boxes with the square brackets when you respond by quoting? Delete everything between them except for the words you want to highlight and your quote will be concise and thoughtful.

Thank you for helping us conserve the electrons and 1's and 0's that go into excessive repeating! Similar to never leaving a light socket empty without a bulb in it. The electricity will leak out.

I've actually come out of retirement to alert a couple of folks that it's contrary to the general style of this board.

Shakespeare wrote - If I may trust the flattering truth of sleep,
My dreams presage some joyful news at hand:
My bosom's lord sits lightly in his throne;
And all this day an unaccustom'd spirit
Lifts me above the ground with cheerful thoughts.

Moral - Never post after drinking a bottle of Grey Goose.

I may reserve the option to quote, OR, speak of…"bosom."

We should all be punished.

Thank you, Bruce. Thank you…

Or quoting signatures. Now, that's dirty.
