Somebody please check my math. How is $299 minus $199 equal to $150. Must be the Canadian exchange rate.

Here's a way I found to save an additional $199... cancel Voices 
It worked for me 
Just for info, I've never paid more than that for Voices anyway... it's been $199 all the time for me. I know I was grandfathered in on the rate, but I heard of new joiners getting it all the time simply by saying they knew someone who had the rate. It will be interesting to see if V123 does the same.

That may not be the best of ideas... you may want to choose a current member who plays nicely... not an ex-member who has been know to pour vitriol over any P2P discussion that comes up
My current policy is to ignore the big P2Ps and not let them sully my life anymore. Over the years I have invested far too much time, energy and angst on them. That energy should be put to better use.

Apparently the $150 deal wasn't attractive enough so Voices.com has upped the discount to $174.50 off if you buy into their deal on Monday:
Desperation? Generosity?
The only good thing I can say about these services now is if you're a beginner and looking for lots of audition copy to try, it's a cheap source for that.
It's kind of like learning how to fish with one of those all-in-one rod and reel setups our parents bought us when we were kids. Once you've caught a few small ones with it, it's time to move on to the big boy's/girl's equipment (marketing methods) and go for the bigger fish in the sea.

I already renewed with voices.com a little while back. Just my luck that they are the ones offering the big discount and not V123, who I'm still sitting on the fence about re-upping with.
