People forget this! VO's get all giddy about these technologies but we really aren't the decision makers on this. We need to be compatible with the studios we work with. The reason I bought Source Connect was because that's what the prospects I identified were using.

Also, kudos to NorthEndVoice for the Mixerface jab. Laugh

I've had SoundStreak downloaded for a while now, and yes no client has even mentioned it.

Meanwhile, I've done work with ipDTL, SC Now, and several German/Austrian clients have asked me to record using Session Link Pro, having bought that license so I didn't need to - just needed Chrome. http://sessionlinkpro.com/

I've mentioned elsewhere that ipDTL and SC Now etc. don't need Chrome or Google. It works great with any open-source Chromium browser. So if Google blocks it, they will still work with Yandex, Opera, etc. ipDTL said if Google interferes, they'll just build their own Chromium browser.
