|
|
I've just changed my email address a couple of times, and I was going to post a question about why the change doesn't appear to be working, as every time I click on the "profile" link the old address is still displayed.
Then I noticed that when I click on the "profile" link, the new address shows up for a few milliseconds, and is then replaced with the old address. This also happens when I refresh the profile page.
So my new question is, what's going on here? Is the new address stored or not? Is it being replaced because of some weirdness on the VO-BB side, or is it something (e.g., a cookie) on my side that's causing the glitch? _________________ Cheers,

Thanks for the help, Jeff. I'm pretty certain the problem is on my end at this point. _________________ Cheers,

Are all of your VO-BB "profile fees" current and up to date? You may want to review the "New Membership" requirements in section 12 of the VO-BB Charter. _________________ "Bailey"

Last I knew, you had to request an email change directly with DB. That's what I did. Can't remember where in the guidelines I saw that posted, though. _________________ jen@jengosnell.com

No, you can change it in your profile. The problem was some software on my end. All sorted now. _________________ Cheers,

If you change your email address, you are likely to get locked out until an admin is able to "reinvigorate" your account. _________________ DBCooperVO.com

Not sure if an admin did anything on your end, but... I'm not locked out. _________________ Cheers,
