VO-BB - 20 YEARS OLD!

Introducing....me. Hey all. New to VO-BB at the urging of a good friend. Pleasantly surprised to have found some old ones here too. Been reading posts and after determining you're a friendly lot (for the most part Wink

I decided to put my hand up and say "hello". As a kid, watching a staff announcer at WOR TV work his magic behind the glass, I was hooked. Worked for years in VO and radio, then took a fork in the road that required wearing a suit. Working my way back to where my heart and soul is, (though can't find the splicing tape and grease pencils ANYWHERE), and really looking forward to getting to know y'all and hearing your most valued feedback, when my demo's ready. Thanks!

Hi Danny and welcome. If you've done your research you'll already have a feel for the place, you've probably got a good handle on who does what, to whom, and when. I see some of the rules have been covered (the llama will be happy), but some have been missed...
... if a P2P discussion goes too far (generally than means a single post) a constable will be summoned.
... DB's word is absolute law... this is why we CAN have nice things.
... Melissa's chocolate must always be 85% or higher.
... for most American's, Philip's posts need reading at least three times before they make sense (slowly... and it's OK to mouth the words as you go). I offer a very reasonable translation service.

Yay! Danny's here!

I um, may have neglected to explain some of the rules. Peter's done a good job though. Yes, new guy cleans up after the llama. You MUST bring chocolate. Don't ask me what watercress means, I still haven't figured it out.

And as much of an expert Bish claims to be on "proper English" he sometimes struggles with punctuation

Oh my... how did that happen! I will hang my head in shame (and resist the temptation to go back and edit). All I can say is that it's Sunday morning and the coffee hasn't kicked-in yet. I am usually a stickler (and do know the proper usage)... that was an "error of the flesh" and I am chagrined.

Oh, and by the way Mel... this bus looks pretty nice from the underside. They maintain it quite well all things considered. I think they must hose it down regularly to remove the remnants of your other victims Wink
