Michael:

I may be late to the party of this one and I don't recall seeing it when I first reviewed the redo of the site but this is an AMAZING graphic.

Tells a tremendous story. Well done!

Peter,

I agree completely.

Picking up on the center of the picture, though, I must admit I've not had that much luck with the hand-held version of the U87. My engineer insists on putting ours in a shock mount for some reason. Smile

Meh.

Tylenol and exercise.

I got up at 9 and it took about 4 hours to feel well. Freakin' neighbors! We have the greatest neighborhood on earth, and libations flow freely at these little get-togethers we have. Nobody has to drive home, see?

Superb use of the iPod interface for demos, too. A site that sets the bar high!

Wow, Thanks for the kudos guys. Blushing (N3)

The site may be simple overall, but it still took a lot of work to get it to the level you see it at now. I had used client logos in my previous website design, but they were presented pretty much as a dry list. For this update I wanted something a little more dynamic, so I set out with the idea of creating a 3D effect by varying the size, brightness and position of the logos along with letting a few bleed over into the navigation area of the page and have a couple float behind me. A few discreet shadows help the effect. It seems to work and people like it, so it was worth the effort.

I've been lucky in that I'm able to put up quite a few major names in the list. It doesn't say as much about my abilities as it does about my location and the fact that out here, I'm a regular sized fish in a pretty small pond. Clients here prefer to work directly with the voices in the studio, so ISDN is almost never used. I think only about 15 studios out of the many hundreds here are ISDN equipped. For the moment, this is to my advantage, but I'd better start getting real good quick because in a couple of years things could change and you guys will be my direct competition!

Here's one of a set of graphics I made a couple of years ago for a web design concept that never quite got off the ground. I thought some people might have found this one a little distasteful so I never used it. I kinda liked it, so I'll share it here.

Maiku.
