If you're able to do something, I'd appreciate it and the people involved will appreciate it even more. Thanks

Thanks Mike.
I've just found images of the hotel in which I stayed prior to a flight around Mount Everest, no longer there and the bar a few doors down the street where I shared a few beers with some local guys which was reduced to rubble. Heart breaking. Shimla my training Captain and his entire family no longer with us and Argamntha my co-pilot (Captain) leaves a wife and 5 children. |

It becomes so much more than an item on the news when you have a personal connection to a tragedy. My condolences on the loss of your friends. _________________ Lee Gordon, O.A.V.

We have neighbors here who emigrated from Nepal, but who still have family in Kathmandu. The family home is trashed, the 90-year-old father sleeping outside. We're having a fundraiser for them tomorrow. _________________ Charter Member: Threadjackers Local 420 |

Happy stories are coming out of Nepal every day but we need to do all we can. Yesterday I was asked to be the voice of a TV appeal for one charity working in the worst hit area.
Make some cup cakes and sell 'em to your neighbours or grab a guitar and sing in your local mall until people pay you to shut up then send the money you raise to people who think $5 is WOW! |

Such a sad thing. I have donated to the relief efforts and hope that as many of my friends as possible will do likewise - I've shown them a way, as you kindly did here, Philip.
I am sorry about how your friends and their families were devastated by this event. _________________ jen@jengosnell.com

For the record I had nothing to do with some charming girls from Nepal and their Gurkha husbands/friends mugging people for money I just HAPPENED to be photoshopped into a pic as a bit of lark! HONEST!
