Two of my favourite people visit to say goodbye for a while as they're moving to Dubai ..SUDDENLY there is a change of plan.

Talia (8 years old) stomps into the kitchen "Mummy, me and Philip are getting married!"

Angela (about 68 years old in heels) "That's nice Midge, why?"

Talia "Because Jazz and Bess need someone to look after them when he's reading things!"

Angela "Are you ready for that kind of responsibility?"

Talia "I AM 8 y'know ...NEARLY 9!"

Angela "Perhaps I should marry Philip and look after ALL 4 of you"

Talia "You're silly!"

More news on this station as we get it ..Dave.

"A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men."

She has the right concept - you should have a young gal around!

There is a load of fabulousness in that photo, some of which is wearing red sneakers.

That was the plan but the queue for it stretched to Folkstone so had we done it we would've missed our train to VOX

Just saw this pic of you, Philip. Love it!

Looked from Facetube like VOX and its bookends were a super-fun time. Smile

It was wonderful!

Sunday night was "Curry Night". I took Nancy to the Punjab of India a restaurant which first opened its doors in 1948. Lovely food!

Nancy Wolfson now "gets" afternoon tea and Indian food.

Most don't. It's barbaric. I don't know how people make it through the evening.

The day should go ...

7-8 Breakfast

Lunch is at 12, Dear One.

Afternoon Tea at 3-4

Dinner 7-8pm

After Port and Cigars in the Admiral's library, a brisk walk in the grounds we join the ladies who will be in the conservatory discussing why Mr Jenner was NOT invited despite her insistence that he should be called ..All QUITE FRIGHTFUL! It's up the wooden hill to Bedfordshire.

I can't last until 8 for dinner but 7/7:30 is okay... Smile

We don't do Admiral's libraries in Australia, so can't comment on the rest!
