Admit it... Either you've been present for it... Or you've done it yourself...

My most memorable repurposing of an item on set:
We were in L.A. taping famous actors and comedians saying silly thing about an Arizona politician for a promotional video of his. We had a big piece of white foam core we were using as a shiny board to bring extra light to people's faces. Fabio had just two short lines to say and could not memorize them, so we had to write them in big print (he didn't want to wear his glasses) all over the shiny board. You can clearly see him reading the lines in the video.

Some of that stuff is positively ghetto. Awesome!!
You should see my 1/2"-pipe-with-a-disc-weight-on-the-bottom steadicam rig. _________________ DBCooperVO.com

I worked on a project in college with decent equipment and all, but the producer needed crew radios, so he went to Walmart and bought a couple sets of "My First Sony" walkie-talkies. We used those over eight weeks of shooting and after we wrapped, he put them back in the boxes and returned them to Walmart. _________________ Greg Littlefield

Is this where I mention that my script/iPad holder is a redesigned pizza box...?
I know I should get something prettier, but... it works perfectly! And I can color on it when I'm bored. _________________ Always look on the bright side of life.

The "desk" in my booth is actually a piece of Ikea furniture intended to store towels in a bathroom. _________________ Lee Gordon, O.A.V.
