If it were pronounced like "rah-voh," then they could introduce a "Model B," and call it the "Bravo." (B-RAV-VO). Shocked

I am going to go out on a limb here and say:

The RA (in RA-VO) probably stands for "Roswell Audio".

And a further leap I shall make: The "VO" stands for "Voice Over".

So we should be calling this the "Roswell Audio Voice Over" mic!
