So I was in a session the other day and I moved my keyboard which in turn caused the remote for the colored lighting in my booth to fall on the floor. No biggie. I was just waiting on a client review. Then they came back to sign off with me and for some reason they couldn't hear me. I started looking at settings, and everything was right so I looked at the preamp (which was sitting of the floor). Just so happens that the remove hit the mic stand on the way down, bounced off the floor and hit the phantom power button!
So I am now planning to put a small rack in the booth to keep something like that from happening again. Glad it wasn't a glass of water or something. |

I would probably have figured out the phantom power button eventually, but I have been known to overlook the solo button after the cat stepped on it. _________________ Playing for a living...
