... and there was I bemoaning the fact that the union wasn't in this century with technology. This is a useful tool... and actually shows that someone is paying attention!

Thanks for posting, Bob!

Yes, yes...YES!! This is (almost) exactly the kind of tool I've been talking about wanting for awhile (minus actually having the cities listed and calculating unit cost, but looks like the subscriber count is similar). I knew it could be done and was wondering why it hadn't existed already.

Thank you for posting, Bob! I think this is not only helpful for Union actors, but also non-Union actors who want to charge Union rates.

EDIT: Kicked the tires a bit more, and now I see the market cities listed under the Wild Spot option, so...YAY! Laugh

Don't forget to add another 8% to cover the paymaster fee if you want to convert it.

... and maybe deduct the payroll taxes if you are an LLC Smile

A few more check boxes and this will be excellent. As a first version it's still pretty impressive and very helpful.

What Jeff said, for sures .But this is a splendid start. It's not actually made for conversions, it's made to estimate signatory work, isn't it?

It makes it easier to get a grip on just how much a client will pay.

Plus 1 on this!

Paymaster can't assume signatory role for commercials. So the use of the word "convert" may not be being used in the same way we have been talking about it in previous posts about non-broadcast stuff. For those, use these numbers (plus the Paymaster fee) to easily "convert" the project.

Commercials will be a little trickier because someone needs to become the signatory.

About the only thing missing from this aHobo Tounge is a chorus of angels singing as it displays the cost estimate.

Impressive. Sorry I missed any classes on this, but what do you do next, presuming you get a client to agree to it? One pathway is to contact one of your agents and have them handle all of this for you.

But what if they're in another city or state and you want to do it all on your own? Do you contact a paymaster and have them handle all the paperwork with your client? If this works what happens to the agency commission?

With Falcon Paymasters, they invoice the client for me and handle it all. They take 8% out to do it.

This is in the testing stage, Bruce. It's not yet launched. If it's going to be successful it will have drop downs for everything, include all expenses, and all scenarios. This is a start!!! But it's a great start!!

Fantastic. Thanks for posting, Bob, and thanks to the mystery developer for making the thing in the first place.
